End of the Semester

Well, we are closing out on the end of the school year and looking forward to some great upcoming summer events.  Lori and I will be going away this weekend for an overnight with our state Chi Alpha staff family on a lake in Minnesota. When we return I will jump on an Amtrak train to travel overnight to Minot North Dakota to visit two very good pool player friends for a few days.  Tom Rossman and Steve Geller. Tom is one of the top two trickshot players in the world and travels the world doing his shows.  He is a strong believer, friend and supporter of our ministry. Looking forward to time with these two buddies.  One week after returning from ND, we will be going to Chicago for our CISC (Christian International Student Conference). This is always an awesome time with students from 30 nations and the presence of God is so strong. this does not even include all that will be happening in June, July and August.  I think that it will prove to be a rich summer in many ways.

Having a great time here in Minnesota with Jerry Gibson, our new national director of ISF.  We have been traveling to a couple of campuses and doing outreach.  having lots of time together.  working out at the rec center, eating lots of meals and just overall having a great time connecting.  Last time with Jerry was in LA with a bunch of wild XA alphan's.  if you know what I mean.

a couple of weeks ago we had our spring retreat and Anshu from Nepal was there with her good friend Anne. Anshu has had a wonderful time investigating the Christian faith.

Well, here I am blogging and had only heard of the word a couple of days ago.  at that time I just had a vague idea what it meant. Since then, I am learning that blogging is a way of life, a philosophy of living and yes, almost a spiritual experience, ha ha.

All of the language that goes with blogging, like " BLOGSTIPATED AND BLOGERIA", I never knew I would use such words and here I am writing them in my very own blog.  not sure how this makes me feel?  wondering if this is even right to do.  ha ha..

Well, I guess that even a brief visit to California can change a life and I think that it has something to do with hanging out with these somewhat strange XA folks here.  not sure why, most of the ones I meet in other parts of the country seem perfectly harmless.  ha ha..

Well, enough blog for now.  catch up with you later.

Jeff

PS- still working through the forgiveness of those that gave me the username of MyfunnyBallantyne.  May God forgive them Please...

I'm a little blogstipated.  I don't have much to say.

Well, maybe I do.  After all I have spent the last few days with the highly intelligent ISF team.  I know they are elite beause they are on XAnga.  They are a forgiving bunch however.  I ditched them at the World Missions Summit, I knew it would be a lot of  long hours so I opted out.  But now I have offiially joined the ranks of 'those in the know'.  Well now I have bloggerhea.  Gotta go.
